Mike "Lydor" LydonCaptainDOB: 1986-07-01 Hometown: Southampton, PA Started Playing: 1995 Bio: Lydon started paintball at the tender age of 9, playing with a pump action pistol in the woods during bible camp. Sure, he lost horribly, got badly hurt, and wasted a lot of money, but the young sort-of-Christian found his calling. Lydon has been a rabid paintballer ever since. He got his first taste of true bliss at the 2004 Invasion of Normandy, where he slept in a trash bag for a weekend and gathered valuable experience he'd later need. The following year, he organized a team to go with him, and dubbed it Help Nelson for reasons he'd never divulge. Lydon found himself in charge at several points, when everybody started staring at him expecting him to act, and ever since then has been the team's leader. He has gone to every event at Skirmish since ION '05 with the exception of only 1 event, which he had to miss due to being in Army basic training. But now he has returned. He's back in the saddle, and seething with anticipation for his next game. Equipment: Tippmann A-5, 20 oz CO2 Tank, JT Flex 9 Mask, UTG Tactical Vest Events: ION '05-'07, Stalingrad '06-'07 Quote: "I have three goals for this team. To have fun, to gain experience, and to have someone else pay for it." Awards: Honor Club (ION '06), Costume Contest Failure (ION '05) Other: Eagle Scout, US Army PFC | ![]() |
